Clear aligners, such as Invisalign, have rapidly gained in popularity. A series of custom-made transparent trays gradually shift your teeth into their ideal position. They fit snuggly and precisely and can occasionally be removed to eat, to brush and floss like normal, and for the occasional special occasion like that big meeting or that special date.
The Latest Technology
Dr. Sarna has incorporated Insignia Damon brackets which are custom made brackets (metal or porcelain) allowing the teeth to move more comfortably and quickly to the precise location intended.
Custom made means less friction, hence less discomfort and the Damon brackets don’t need elastics to hold the wire in place, so no need to change elastics means less frequent visits! The same great results as conventional brackets with faster pace and less visits.
However, for children, who want elastics and enjoy changing different colors, we still do offer them so make sure you ask.

The new scanning technology allows patients to view simulated outcomes of their orthodontic treatment before they start.
The 3D digital impressions are loaded into the simulator and the model of the teeth is moved and adjusted based on the scheduled treatment. This way patients can see in advance how their smile will look.
The iTero technology captures complete tooth images in a 3D format. A wand gently rests on teeth for easy scanning without discomfort.
